Seedlings

It has taken me a while to get the seeds started this spring, but over the past few weeks I have got around to sowing a few varieties. Some seeds have germinated, some are just about to start sprouting and there are also a few which have not yet sprouted.
In other words just like every previous year ;-D

The chilli seedlings from seeds sowed back in February have grown well.

There are seven chilli pepper plants all together, two of the variety 'de cayenne' and five of 'etna'.

I sowed tomato seeds a little while back, which sprouted quickly and have been repotted once already.
All together there are eighteen seedlings of three different varieties named 'moneymaker', 'gardeners delight' and 'wilma'. The last one is a smaller bushy variety to be grown in tubs.
Most tomato seedlings look ok, yet a few of them seem a little fragile. I try to nurture and care for them, and I'll just wait and see how many that will make it into the greenhouse.

Other seeds that have germinated and grown so far are basil, leek and spring onions.
And also columbine and marigold.

It is so nice to be preparing for the new gardening season :)
I can't wait for the weather to be warm enough to get started outside in the kitchen garden.

Men plantene står fint i vinduskarmen..

Ha en fin dag..

Your seedlings are doing really well. My first batch of chilli has failed to germinate (from seed saved last year). The second batch, at the moment, is also not appearing - strange!
