Finished.

I have finished a couple of crochet projects.

The first project is the crochet flowers made during our vacation by the sea. My plan was to attatch the crochet flowers onto hair clips. They are finished now, and I think they turned out cute.

The inspiration for the hair clips I got from this post over at Lanas de Ana, but my flowers were crocheted from memory and not from the pattern.

The second finished project is a crocheted and felted handbag.

The bag was made last summer, so it's not a stash-buster project.
The yarn was naturally dyed with oak leaves, and originally it was a pinkish colour. However it turned brown during felting in the washing mashine, so there happened a change of colour here!
Because of the colour change it kind of stopped with the handles/straps. First I crocheted two different shoulder straps, of which the colours did not combine well with the brown colour of the bag, so the bag was just put aside.

After almost a year in the ufo-basket the bag was finally picked out and finished. It's got bamboo handles instead of a shoulder strap, the lining was sewed on (it was already made, but not fastened), and the bag got a heart shaped button and an adornment of glass beads.
It was good to finally have the bag finished, and it's already been given away.

Oh the hair clips are so sweet, great job! ♥ Fascinating how the color of the bag's yarn changed by felting. The nice beads decoration fits perfectly!
